Savannah began her career as a field biologist, gaining experience with the U.S. Forest Service, Florida Fish and Wildlife, and environmental consulting firms before founding GAIA Environmental Group. Her expertise was built in the field—delineating wetlands, evaluating habitats, interpreting natural systems, and developing an understanding of the landscapes that others often overlook.
Today, as Founder and Principal Ecologist of GAIA, she personally leads the firm’s projects, providing clients with thoughtful guidance from early due diligence through permitting and project completion.
Savannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Natural Resource Policy from the University of Florida. She is an ISA Certified Arborist, a state-authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent, GIS certified, and has more than a decade of active field experience throughout Florida.
